IAOP Global 100 FAQs

Everything you need to know about applying for the IAOP Global 100®.
Applications for the 2027 list open September 1, 2026 and must be submitted by November 1, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET. Questions? Email g100@iaop.org.
  • Any company that provides outsourcing, business services, technology services, or advisory services is eligible to apply. IAOP membership is not required, and participation is entirely voluntary. Companies must submit a new application each year to be considered.

The final lists recognize organizations across a range of sizes and specialties, including Leaders, Rising Stars, and Advisors. Evaluation criteria are designed to recognize excellence regardless of company size, so emerging firms and global organizations alike have an opportunity to be recognized.

  • Company size, revenue, and growth are not part of the judging criteria. These factors are used only to classify companies as Leaders, Rising Stars, or Advisors.

All applicants are evaluated using the same judging framework and scoring methodology.

  • The IAOP Global 100 includes three categories:

    • Leaders – larger, established organizations with significant market presence
    • Rising Stars – companies with less than $50 million in annual revenue and/or fewer than 5,000 employees
    • Advisors – advisory firms of any size

Companies are first classified into one of these categories and then evaluated across the judging criteria. Recognition is based on overall performance rather than company size.

  • The application process is designed to resemble a customer RFP and consists of three required sections:

    1. Company Information – contact and organizational details
    2. Company Profile – services, industries, and geographic coverage used to determine eligibility for sublists
    3. Evaluation Criteria – responses related to Customer References, Awards & Certifications, Innovation, and Social Impact

Applicants may also complete optional sections for additional recognition opportunities, including Recognition for Excellence in Strategic Partnerships and IAOP Vanguards. Supporting documentation is encouraged and can strengthen submissions.

  • Yes. All application information is treated as confidential and is used solely for judging purposes. Information submitted through the application will not be published without permission. All judges are required to sign confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements.

  • The 2027 application opens on September 1, 2026, and must be completed and locked by 11:59 PM ET on November 1, 2026.

Applications that are not locked by the deadline will not be considered.

Organizations are evaluated through a structured application process and assessed by independent judges across multiple performance categories. This approach allows both emerging companies and established global organizations to be recognized based on demonstrated excellence rather than scale alone.

The result is a more balanced and comprehensive assessment of organizational performance, innovation, customer impact, and industry leadership.ply at IAOP.org/G100
