Message from the CEO
It was so great to “see you” at OWS21! I hope you were able to join us for our first virtual Summit in February and were inspired as we all were.
While we certainty missed gathering in-person, our strong community prevailed. Our new platform expanded our reach and brought participants from around the world (and across time zones) together in a new and exciting way to learn, network and celebrate all that we have accomplished over the past 12 months.
Relationships have never been more important and we were delighted to have our members and delegates join us for four days of engaging presentations from the best thought leaders who shared valuable content to help you thrive in today’s environment.
With COVID-19 changing everything, we hope you found the latest cutting-edge research and insights shared by our expert speakers throughout the event helpful in charting the future with greater certainty.
It was a pleasure to put a spotlight on the great work being done in our industry with a programming focus on Impact Souring. We also are delighted to induct three amazing professionals into our Leadership Hall of Fame.
Among the many other highlights was the soft launch of our new Centers for Excellence focused on the critical areas of: Governance/Risk, Impact Sourcing, Digital Technologies and the Future of Work.
Building on the great initial discussions we had at OWS21, our COEs will provide the expertise and knowledge resources (such as best practices, education, training and tools) needed for your organization to attain and sustain world-class performance and value in these important areas to our industry.
