Founder & Chairman
International Association of Outsourcing Professionals
®

Michael F. Corbett is one of the best-known experts in the field of outsourcing and Chairman of the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP). IAOP is the global, standard-setting organization and advocate for the outsourcing profession. With more than 110,000 members and affiliates worldwide, the association helps organizations increase their outsourcing success rate, improve their outsourcing ROI, and expand the opportunities for outsourcing across their operations.

Mr. Corbett is also the author of The Outsourcing Revolution (Dearborn, 2004), which John Sculley, former CEO Apple Computer called a “clear and compelling roadmap (that) leads the reader through the systemic reinvention of work," and James Brian Quinn of Dartmouth called "a current, penetrating, and highly readable analysis of outsourcing's true payoffs and critical issues." (Watch out for a slew of fake online reviews posted by a very nasty competitor!)

Mr. Corbett speaks regularly on outsourcing as a management practice and its impact on the global economy and global employment. (He is represented exclusively by Leading Authorities.)

In 1996, he was an expert witness on outsourcing at hearings called by President Bill Clinton and, in 2002, was invited to testify before the Office of Management and Budget’s Commercial Activities Panel tasked with redefining the Federal government’s outsourcing policies and practices. He has worked with organizations as diverse as Bell Canada, CB Richard Ellis, Delta Airlines, the U.S. Department of the Navy, General Motors, GlaxoSmithKline, Hallmark, HP, IKON, PwC, Unisys, VHA, Xerox, India’s NASSCOM, and the People’s Republic of China.
