IAOP Announces European Outsourcing Council
Board Will Work to Empower European Buyers, Advisors and Providers, to Improve Business Service Models and Outcomes
Windermere, FL, June 28, 2017 – IAOP® today announced the members of its newly formed European Outsourcing Council (EOC). The EOC was developed to gain knowledge of the European outsourcing market, broaden IAOP’s reach and strengthen its brand in the region in an effort to really set IAOP apart as the organization that works to empower European buyers, advisors and providers, to improve business service models and outcomes.
“One of the most exciting things about IAOP and particularly the EOC is the willingness to listen to the medium-sized players,” says Marko Kovacevic, CEO, Trizma, and EOC Chair. “We don't kid ourselves that we are IBM or something, but through IAOP we get to share our experience with the larger organizations as equals. I'm looking forward to chairing the group and putting in more than we receive. Our mission will be very much to promote added value in outsourcing while sharing the knowledge, best practices and lessons learned, and being an independent platform for the exchange of ideas.”
The European Outsourcing Council is comprised of members committed to working with IAOP to serve its European membership and the greater EU outsourcing industry. Members of the EOC leading this important initiative include:

As a founding committee member and along with others on the board, we hope to bring everything IAOP offers its US members and build a true community of sourcing leaders.”
The newly created European Outsourcing Council (EOC) will allow IAOP’s European members from various industries to collaborate in an effective way, resulting in outcomes which are member-driven and relevant to them.
“We are thrilled to announce our European Outsourcing Council,” said Debi Hamill, IAOP CEO. “These new board members are innovators and visionaries, and their insights will be invaluable in helping us not only understand the nuances that set the region apart, but to act on them in a way that brings the utmost value to our members.”
Survey
IAOP is committed to supporting its members and chapters in Europe and has developed a survey to learn more about its members’ activities in the region and to better understand their needs. This survey is the first initiative of the EOC and should take no more than 5 minutes.
