Industry Leader, Arno IJmker, to be Inducted 
into IAOP’s Leadership Hall of Fame
 
 
WINDERMERE, FL, October 26, 2016 — IAOP® today announced that Arno IJmker, Managing Partner at Quint Wellington Redwood, and IAOP European Advisory Board member, will be inducted into its prestigious Leadership Hall of Fame during The 2016 European Outsourcing Summit. The event, which is part of The Outsourcing World Summit Conference Series, will be held November 6-8, 2016, at the Renaissance Amsterdam, in The Netherlands.
 
“The Outsourcing Hall of Fame recognizes the highest quality of professionals in the outsourcing industry, globally,” said Debi Hamill, IAOP CEO. “We are pleased to welcome Arno IJmker as he is at the forefront of advancing practices and has inspired us with his contributions, which have helped shape and grow the industry.”
 
Starting in 1999 as a senior consultant with Quint Wellington Redwood, Mr. IJmker founded Quint’s sourcing consultancy practice, and since then he has climbed the ranks of Quint to become Managing Partner, through different roles in the organization. His experience, efforts and commitment to his team led to Quint’s # 1 ranking as a global outsourcing consultancy firm in 2014. His dedication to the outsourcing industry has been fueled by multiple engagements, serving many executives in their strategic sourcing decisions and subsequent vendor choices.

Arno IJmker has worked in a variety of professional sectors during his successful career, including insurance, banking, NGO upper management and business consultancy. He has a master’s degree in Business Administration and Economics from the VU University in Amsterdam. He pursued postgraduate courses in Information Management, and Management and New Media at the University of Amsterdam. He has also participated in the Strategic Leadership Programme at Nyenrode Business University.
 
Arno began his career with the Ansvar Insurance Company’s finance department then moved to the banking industry, working first for Nederlandse Crediet Bank then at MeesPierson Bank.  He then joined the NGO sector, working for Dorcas Aid International in the Middle East region out of Cairo, Egypt. Arno returned to MeesPierson before joining Quint Wellington Redwood in 1999. He also serves as secretary of the International Board of Trustees of Medair, a Swiss-based global relief and rehabilitation organization. Furthermore, he is a member of the advisory board of the Platform Outsourcing Netherlands, being one of its co-founders.
 
Hall of Fame
Established by IAOP in 2006, The IAOP Leadership Hall of Fame continues to grow globally and now has 25-plus members in its ranks. The IAOP Leadership Hall of Fame is unique in that it recognizes individuals not only for their contributions to innovative management practices and collaborative business models but just as importantly for their contributions to society at-large through measurable outcomes.
