Outsourcing Week Held in China
IAOP Chapters Organize Events for Professionals

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY, April 20 – Outsourcing professionals from throughout China will join together for a series of chapter meetings of the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals® (IAOP®) during China Week, April 23 - 27, to advance the industry and explore pertinent issues.
Outsourcing leaders will discuss important topics ranging from outsourcing services, governance, innovation and outsourcing trends at four chapter meetings in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Beijing and Jinan that are open to new members.
“IAOP’s China Week provides a rich and concentrated platform for all members of the outsourcing community from within China and abroad,” says Ken Schulz, Vice President, Global Marketing, VanceInfo Technologies Inc. and co-chair of the Beijing Chapter. “It is a unique and unprecedented opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of the Middle Kingdom’s dazzlingly fast-growing outsourcing industry.”
The country’s four IAOP chapters have come together to offer a coordinated and diverse set of topics, and share their knowledge and resources with fellow members and industry peers.
“China is both an important provider of outsourcing services and a growing consumer,” says Matt Bruno, managing Director of ReSourcePro China and chair of the Shandong/Qingdao chapter. “Most people when visiting China go to Shanghai or Beijing and get a very limited view of the diversity of Chinese cities. By holding events in several cities, especially some second tier cities in China like Jinan, we are giving IAOP professionals a diverse look at one of the most important economies of the 21st century.”
