International Association of Outsourcing Professionals Relaunches Process Excellence Chapter

IAOP Chapter Holds Webinar on Achieving Exceptional Process Results

POUGHKEEPSIE, N. Y., June 9, 2010 – The International Association of Outsourcing Professionals® (IAOP®) today announced it is relaunching the Process Excellence Chapter with a webinar on “Connecting Vision with Strategy and Execution for Exceptional Process Excellence Results.”

The chapter is chaired by Ajay Kapoor, vice president of business process reengineering North America at Genpact, along with Gary Burke, Honeywell finance transformation director and Daniel Murphy, IRI Vice President of Strategic Suppliers.

“Process excellence can provide a measurable positive business impact,” said Kapoor. This chapter will provide a forum for professionals to come together to demystify process excellence and identify effective process improvement and change management practices.”

The webinar will be held June 24, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. The session will ne moderated by Matt Shocklee, president and CEO of Global Sourcing Optimization Services (GSOS), LLC and IAOP Global Ambassador.

Process excellence is widely used across product development, manufacturing, sales and marketing, product delivery and installation, financials, after sales service, compliance, Human Resources and outsourcing to achieve tangible results through process standardization, process optimization, gap analysis and consolidation.

“Process improvements tend not to be one of the primary drivers, during any strategic planning cycle,” said Dean Kendall, program director GTA Practice, North America, Equaterra. “This is a flawed thought process for most companies, as they tend to approach process tactically.  Process should be a strategy, as one of the most important drivers for productivity, efficiency and customer satisfaction.  Process is the foundation for all business models.”

The chapter will hold quarterly webinars featuring industry and thought leaders, key professionals and motivational speakers. It will provide a vehicle for professionals to better understand various methodologies to institute process excellence and also connect individuals to share best practices to manage and implement process improvement.

The event is free and open to users, advisors and providers of outsourcing services who are individual or corporate members of IAOP. Non-members are invited to attend as a guest of IAOP. Click here to be added to the chapter notification list.
