CERTIFICATE PROGRAM: DESIGN THINKING WORKSHOP

Co-Create Value Using Design Thinking Concepts to Collaborate with Stakeholders

This event is in-person

Using the previous day's governance learnings as a launch pad, we will come together for a 4-hour hands-on workshop, where you will learn the concepts behind design thinking and how it can be used to drive innovation. Develop a basic proficiency in the design thinking process through facilitated small team breakout activities to learn what it takes to implement design thinking in your organization. Specific learning objectives include:

Describe what makes Design Thinking different from traditional problem-solving and innovation
Apply DT concepts of defining and articulating user needs
Demonstrate how to capture, distill, and prioritize problems
Discover techniques to develop and integrate ideas quickly
Explore strategies to generate and prioritize prototype solutions to address top issues quickly

Workshop attendees will receive a completion certificate from IAOP and 4 CEHs towards COP recertification.
