Two Outsourcing Professionals Honored For Advancing Industry Through Involvement with International Association of Outsourcing Professionals

Executives from Procter & Gamble and Pretium Partners are Recognized

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY, March 3, 2009 – Two outsourcing professionals have been honored for their work in advancing the outsourcing professional globally through their active involvement with the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP).

Bill Hall
, a founding partner at Pretium Partners, Inc., and William Metz, certified outsourcing professional (COP), external business development manager, global business services, Procter & Gamble, were named 2008 Members of the Year by IAOP.

They were honored at a luncheon ceremony during IAOP’s annual conference, The 2009 Outsourcing World Summit®, at La Costa Resort & Spa on Feb. 17, for their demonstrated commitment to the growth of IAOP and their leadership in the promotion and delivery of the association’s programs.

“Through their active involvement and leadership, Bill Hall and William Metz are advancing the outsourcing industry globally, and helping to expand the ranks and expertise of professionals working in the industry,” said Debi Hamill, IAOP’s senior managing director, global membership.

Professionals Lead Chapters

Hall has been a tireless contributor to the industry since before IAOP was even off the ground. He formed and co-chairs IAOP’s Sales & Marketing Chapter, chairs the Member Services Committee and hosted the Customer Experiences Track at this year’s
Summit.

“Bill is someone who has always been there for IAOP and its members. He never says ‘no’ but instead says ‘here’s how,’” Hamill said.

Hall said: “I have truly enjoyed contributing to and learning from the association. IAOP’s member-driven organization encourages involvement and direction from all its membership -- customers, providers and advisors alike. This collegial environment makes it easy for all of us to interact and for industry leaders to drive priorities. IAOP is a valuable asset to my company.”

In the last 12 months, Metz has participated in two Outsourcing World Summits, the European Outsourcing Summit and has represented IAOP in China. He also co-chairs the Greater Cincinnati Chapter.

“Bill Metz stands out for his unstoppable willingness to share his experiences, learning, insights and cutting-edge thinking on outsourcing from his work at Procter & Gamble with our members around the world,” said Hamill.

“I am honored to receive the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals’ Member of the Year award,” said
Metz. “Few things are more gratifying than the recognition of your peers. I’ve seen tremendous value in my association with IAOP and I am happy to have had the opportunity to contribute as well.”

Honorees are selected by IAOP’s executive team and presented with the award annually at The Outsourcing World Summit.

Prior year honorees include Neil S. Hirshman,
COP, a partner at Kirkland & Ellis, LLP, and Kurt Kohorst, COP, vice president at Liberty Mutual Insurance.
