Economic uncertainty is a common theme that we will all navigate in 2024.

How do we surmount this volatility? By surrounding ourselves with individuals who can uplift us personally and professionally, share their knowledge and creativity, and offer inspiration.

IAOP is precisely the community that provides connections like this. And that is why we are more excited than ever to embark on this year with you.

2023 marked another outstanding year for our association and our incredible members. We came together to network, learn, and recognize the exceptional work of our members.

Through in-person events like OWS in Chicago, on-location events led by IAOP’s Centers for Excellence, and numerous webinars and education programs, we shared thought leadership, gained knowledge, and made powerful connections.

IAOP has always placed a high priority on addressing the issues that matter most to members. Last year, we focused on developing guiding principles for social impact, creating a supplier directory, updating the Certified Outsourcing Professional program, and addressing the ethical use of Artificial Intelligence (AI), among other relevant topics.

So, what’s in store for this year? We look forward to continued networking, education, training, recognition, collaboration, and celebration.

We are thrilled to hold OWS 24 again in vibrant downtown Chicago on May 21-22, with an added day for optional workshops. This is where member collaboration is unleashed. With a theme of Uniting Minds, Igniting Connections, the dynamic program will provide insightful sessions and unparalleled networking opportunities. We are immensely thankful for our partners HCSC and Baker McKenzie for providing the magnificent event space. Stay tuned for more details!

Our Centers for Excellence will continue to be the hubs where you can access the expertise and resources focused on key areas critical to the industry’s future, including Social Impact, Digital Technologies, the Future of Work, and Collaborative Supplier Governance.
