IAOP Names Judges to Evaluate Global Outsourcing 100®
and World’s Best Outsourcing Advisors
Initial Lists of Top  Companies to be Released in February

Poughkeepsie, NY, Jan. 6, 2015 – IAOP today named its 8-member evaluation panel of recognized industry leaders who will use a rigorous and objective process to evaluate applications of the top providers for the tenth annual Global Outsourcing 100® and advisors for the seventh World’s Best Outsourcing Advisors listing.

The Global Outsourcing 100 recognizes the world’s best outsourcing service providers and advisors – from across all industries, areas of specialization, and sizes - to provide the most relevant information to its members and the industry at-large. These companies all share the standards and values of a community of outsourcing companies and professionals.

The customer and academic panelists have extensive experience in selecting companies based on requests for proposals (RFPs). Most hold the prestigious Certified Outsourcing Professional® (COP) certification, validating their outsourcing expertise.

“The new GO100 captures the evolution of the outsourcing industry,” said Mike Corbett, Chairman, IAOP and GO100 Judging Chair. “With that, we’re pleased to have selected this diverse team of judges who epitomize excellence, forward thinking and industry knowledge.”

The panel includes:
  • Michael F. Corbett, Chairman, IAOP and GO100 Judging Chair
  • Jagdish Dalal, COP, President, JDalal Associates, LLC, Chief advisor of Thought Leadership, IAOP
  • Gregory Dawson, Ph.D., COP, Assistant Professor of Information Systems, W.P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University
  • Teresa Harris, COP,  Global Supplier Relationship Manager, GE
  • William Hefley, Ph.D., CDP, COP, Clinical Associate Professor, University of Pittsburgh and Director, ITSqc, LLC
  • Cheryl Seely, COP, Manager, Thomson Reuters
  • Paul Quaglia, COP, CIO, Scientific Games
  • Mary D. Lewis, Sourcing Manager II, Supply Chain Management, Sprint

Established in 2006, The Global Outsourcing 100 includes Leaders and Rising Stars, as well as many sub-lists based on geographies, services and industries. In 2009, IAOP added the World’s Best Outsourcing Advisors – a listing of consultant, legal and related advisory firms globally.

New this year:

  • an expanded focus on innovation and corporate social responsibility (CSR) – areas customers say are increasingly central to their outsourcing decisions
  • a showcasing of the best companies in each of four judging categories: size and growth; delivery excellence; programs for innovation; and CSR
  • alphabetical instead of ranked lists making it both easier to find companies by name and placing greater emphasis on the merit required to make the list as opposed to relative ranking among these top companies
The companies named in The Global Outsourcing 100 will first be announced at the association’s annual conference, The 2015 Outsourcing World Summit®, Feb. 16-18, at JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge, Phoenix, Arizona. The official listings will be premiered in a special advertising section on outsourcing in the 2nd Quarter Special  2015 Fortune 500 issue of Fortune magazine.
