IAOP Seeking World’s Top Companies for Annual Rankings
and New Award in CSR Activities

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY, August 2 – The International Association of Outsourcing Professionals® (lAOP®) is calling on outsourcing service providers and advisors to apply for its annual Global Outsourcing 100® and join the ranks of past leaders like Accenture and KPMG.

Beginning September 1st, the association will start accepting applications for the annual independently judged, opt-in ranking. For complete information about current rankings, as well as details to apply for 2013, please visit IAOP’s website. Last day to apply is November 1, 2012.

“Now in its eighth year, the Global Outsourcing 100 is the industry’s trusted source in helping companies select leading providers and advisors who will help them achieve greater business value and better outcomes,” said IAOP CEO Debi Hamill. “This leads to a healthier and a more competitive outsourcing marketplace.”

In 2012, Accenture was named the world’s best outsourcing provider for the fifth consecutive year and KPMG topped the list of leading advisors to the industry.

The unranked lists will be previewed at the 2013 Outsourcing World Summit, Feb. 18-20, 2013 at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge, Phoenix, Arizona, and fully released in spring/summer 2013 in a special advertising section of FORTUNE® magazine.

Companies will be judged using an objective methodology that examines 18 criteria, including size and growth, customer references, organizational competencies and management capabilities.

New this year, all applicant service providers that complete the optional non-scoring questions about their CSR activities will be eligible for a new award jointly presented by IAOP and ISG.  The IAOP/ISG Global Outsourcing Social Responsibility Impact Award (GOSRIA) was established to recognize service provider excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities. IAOP’s CSR Committee and ISG specifically seek to acknowledge the achievements of outsourcing service providers committed to a CSR program that fosters community, workplace training, communication, environment and giving.

“Each year, the Global Outsourcing 100 continues to grow stronger and become more recognized, sought and valued in the industry,” said IAOP Managing Director of Thought Leadership, Jag Dalal, who will lead the evaluation team. “This year we’re excited to have added an optional category on the application for the new Global Outsourcing Social Responsibility Impact Award (GOSRIA), which was established to recognize service provider excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities.”

A complimentary one hour webinar takes those interested through the entire application process for the Global Outsourcing 100® 2013 rankings. Webinar takes place August 8, 2012, 12:00 pm EDT (UTC-4 hours).
