IAOP Pacific Northwest Chapter Relaunches with Meeting on Legal Aspects of Outsourcing in an Emerging Market

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY, Nov. 8 – The newly reorganized Pacific Northwest chapter of the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals® (lAOP®) will hold a meeting to discuss legal aspects of outsourcing in an emerging market this month.

 Expedia, Inc. and VanceInfo are chairs of the newly reorganized chapter that includes outsourcing customers, providers and advisors from the region as well as thought leaders from the academic and legal communities.

The event will be held on Nov. 16, from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m., at the Expedia Building, 333 108th Ave. NE in Bellevue, Washington, in the first floor large conference room.

Featured speaker Dan Harris of Harris & Moure, pllc, an international law firm, will give a presentation on “The Legal Myths, Realities, Traps and Benefits to Outsourcing to an Emerging Market” at 4 p.m. The meeting also will include an overview of IAOP, chapter highlights, a discussion on future meeting topics and a networking reception.

The Pacific Northwest chapter is a regional chapter within IAOP’s portfolio of over 40 chapters worldwide.
