Leading Companies Share Outsourcing Governance Expertise IAOP Governance Forum Slated This Fall in September

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y., Aug. 7 – Allstate, Ameriprise Financial, IBM and PricewaterhouseCoopers are among companies that will share their experiences and best practices in outsourcing governance at the upcoming International Association of Outsourcing Professionals’ (IAOP) Governance Forum.

In response to a member survey revealing that governance is the top concern of outsourcing professionals, IAOP’s Governance Chapter presents the IAOP Governance Forum, September 9, at the Marriott Downtown in Chicago, Illinois. It is the first in the new Outsourcing Leadership Series.

“Good governance and effective relationship management is what distinguishes outsourcing deals that deliver value from those that disappoint,” said Danny Ertel, Certified Outsourcing Professional (COP), partner of Vantage Partners, and chairman of the IAOP Governance Chapter.

“Governance helps buyers go beyond just managing the risk of the deal, to realizing and exceeding their business case,” he said. “Indeed, the capability to manage relationships for mutual value is what differentiates the top providers in an increasingly commoditized environment.”

Forum Highlights

“IAOP’s Governance Forum – the first full-day, multi-track event dedicated to this critical issue – is a unique opportunity to learn what really works in practice to enable companies to achieve the result they desire from outsourcing deals,” said Jagdish Dalal, IAOP managing director, thought leadership.

Keynote addresses include a customer panel on “If We Had Only Known When…
