Launches Ambassador Program
Leaders in the their Fields Join Efforts to Strengthen the Outsourcing Industry
 
 
Poughkeepsie, NY, Feb. 15, 2013 – The International Association of Outsourcing Professionals® (IAOP®) today announced the launch of its Ambassador Program, designed to leverage the knowledge, skills and experience of some of IAOP’s most trusted business relationships for the overall benefit of the association, its members and non-members.

The Ambassador Program will increase the global awareness of IAOP, the benefits of membership and encourage new members to join IAOP, support the overall charter of IAOP and provide IAOP leadership with professional insights on key issues and topics of interest to the association and the outsourcing industry.

Current ambassadors are as follows: Chris Long, ambassador of the healthcare industry; Graham Pascoe, ambassador for the UK/Ireland; Santiago Pinzon, ambassador for Latin America; Bobby Varanasi, ambassador for Asia-Pacific; Mauricio Velasquez, ambassador for Latin America.

“I am honored and excited to serve as IAOP’s ambassador to the healthcare industry,” said Chris Long, COP and IAOP’s ambassador to the healthcare industry. “The opportunity for continued successful outsourcing in the healthcare industry is great and I look forward to helping the industry benefit from everything IAOP has to offer.”

“IAOP will continue to add ambassadors both geographically and by industry,” said IAOP CEO Debi Hamill. We will work with our regional advisory boards worldwide to help identify new candidates.”

Ambassadors are nominated by IAOP leadership and are “The Voice” of IAOP, promoting the benefits and value of IAOP (to members and non-members alike). They are an advocate of the association with its members assisting them in realizing business value from their IAOP membership. Ambassadors are a conduit for IAOP in effectively communicating with membership and understanding member needs/issues. They identify opportunities for growth through innovative new programs and services.
