Moving Innovation forward with the Global ‘Smart Enterprise’
The rise of Big Data has provided enhanced opportunities for business intelligence and analytics; the proliferation of smart phones and the BYOD phenomenon has driven enterprise mobility; and finally, global companies require access to data from anywhere and at any time, with virtualization and cloud technologies making it possible. Chinese private companies, State-owned enterprises (SOEs), and even government agencies are investing significant resources to become “smart” through analytics, mobile, and cloud computing. All enterprises, big or small, are placing high-hopes on IT-enabled innovation to keep cutting-edge competitive advantages in order to win in the local & global market.
Worldwide business trends speed up when entering China and the emergence of the “smart enterprise” is no exception, traditional outsourcing will not be enough to support business needs. Both buyers and providers should rethink IT’s role and explore new forms of innovation to meet the demands arising from social transformation. Grounded firmly in China’s burgeoning domestic IT services market, and with expanding global delivery capabilities, China’s IT service and consulting firms are uniquely positioned to catalyze the evolution of businesses worldwide into smart enterprises.
