IAOP’s Research Initiatives

IAOP’s Research Programs seek to create an ongoing, ever-evolving knowledge set that supports their needs and leverages the unique relationship that exists within our member-based association. This is achieved by focusing on three goals; to respond directly to our members' areas of interest, draw upon their unique insights and experience and provide perspectives and insights they may not be able to obtain through other sources.  Here are some of the current initiatives that are in process with the association and its partners:
 

2014 Research Agenda

• 2014 IAOP/KellyOCG Compensation Survey is now completed.  The results will be presented at the IAOP 2015 Outsourcing World Summit, and full write posted to Firmbuilder.com.

• State of the Industry Member Survey, in partnership with Accenture - Customers and Providers/Advisors Annual Survey presented at the Outsourcing World Summit.  The analysis and executive summary, with trending over the last few years, will be posted to Firmbuilder.com when completed in 2014. The 2013 State of the Industry Survey results may be accessed here.

• CSR in Outsourcing Survey update (in conjunction with IAOP's CSR Subcommittee) will be presented at the 2015 Outsourcing World Summit.

• State of the Outsourcing Professional - In collaboration with Kelly OCG, information will be provided surrounding salary levels, tends, and talent sets for outsourcing professionals.

• Cloud Computing Survey - In collaboration with IAOP's Cloud Computing Chapter and Baker & McKenzie,  this client based survey will explore the impact of cloud computing, specifically its effects on the contracting process.

• Global Outsourcing 100 - Annual survey providing research and reporting on world's best outsourcing providers and advisors.
