Course Description: One requirement of the Outsourcing Professional Body of Knowledge (OPBOK) is the “Ability to assess and enhance over time an organization’s outsourcing maturity.”  This workshop will provide an overview of two eSourcing Capability Models and the associated appraisal methods, which can be said to meet this requirement.  ITSqc, LLC, the spin-off from Carnegie Mellon University created to promote best practice models for the global IT-enabled services industry, aims to extend the impact of the eSourcing Capability Models (eSCM-SP for service providers and eSCM-CL for client organizations).  ITSqc, LLC, provides support for these Models, by training professionals about the Models, the eSCM-based methods for determining organizational capabilities, and related professional education programs with strategic partners including IAOP.  Workshop topics include:  the eSourcing Capability Model for Client Organizations (eSCM-CL); the eSourcing Capability Model for Service Providers (eSCM-SP); the eSourcing Capability Determination Methods; organization certification using the eSourcing Capability Models; process improvement using the eSourcing Capability Models and examples of improvements made using the eSourcing Capability Models.
