IAOP Chapter: Greater Cincinnati
Meeting held June 24 2010
A meeting of the IAOP Greater Cincinnati Chapter, co-chaired Procter & Gamble, Belcan Corporation and RTM Consulting, was held on Thursday, June 24, at Belcan Corp., 10200 Anderson Way, Cincinnati.
We had an exciting and informative agenda including our featured topic "Making the Decision to Outsource...Transparency as an enabler for ITO Success." Blazent Software, a leader in assisting outsourcing customers and service providers in establishing clarity through transparency in their relationships will share a case study example with one of their major clients, IBM Global Services.
The session addressed the critical need for transparency in the outsourcing lifecycle, particularly when establishing accurate baselines and understanding of the asset/inventory when considering IT infrastructure outsourcing. The need for accuracy and transparency at the beginning of the outsourcing life-cycle provides for a faster, quicker more accurate outsourcing decision cycle and then provides a solid foundation for service delivery success by the service provider by eliminating friction in the relationship and wasted time and money in governance.
