IAOP Celebrates Fifth Anniversary of PULSE Magazine

with Launch of Website, IAOPPULSE.net

Member-Driven Magazine Connects the Global Community of Outsourcing Professionals

WINDERMERE, FL, Sept. 6, 2017 – In celebration of its fifth anniversary of  PULSE, the official magazine of IAOP, the association is thrilled to announce the soft launch of PULSE Magazine online, IAOPPULSE.net, which debuts Sept. 6, 2017, alongside the Fall edition. The full website will debut with the Winter issue, in December 2017.

Over the past 30 issues, PULSE has aimed to be at the forefront of informing the industry about issues, trends and conversations that are relevant to industry professionals; covering the cutting-edge topics in outsourcing and related business models.

As PULSE Magazine is published quarterly, IAOP will provide regular updates, breaking news and live coverage, as it happens with its PULSE Blog with editorial content from the leading thinkers and doers in the outsourcing industry.

To complement IAOPPULSE.net is the brand-new PULSE Archives website, PULSEarchives.net. Available only to IAOP Corporate and Professional members, it will house all past issues of PULSE Magazine.

“Since our founding, PULSE has always been driven by IAOP’s members,” said PULSE Editor-in-Chief Sandy Frinton. “In celebration of our 5th anniversary, we are pleased to launch our new website as well as our tagline reflecting that mission: ‘Powered by IAOP Members. Connecting the Global Community.’  With our new website, the global community of professionals working in sourcing roles will have another interactive platform to share their expertise and best practices. PULSE will continue to be driven by the industry’s thought leaders, and deliver the latest industry trends, cutting-edge topics and compelling conversations in an engaging, interactive format that is easily accessible online.”

The pages of PULSE have included such burning topics as impact sourcing and CSR; the impact of digital technologies; the realities of Robotic Process Automation; the evolution of outsourcing and shared services; innovation and collaboration; and women empowerment, among many other issues.  The magazine’s contributors have provided expert commentary on social, political and economic changes around the globe  – from this year’s U.S. Presidential elections to the Brexit vote in Europe and other unrest that has created uncertainty as well as opportunity.

“The industry is constantly changing. It is important outsourcing professionals stay current with the latest ideas, advice, knowledge and best practices and breaking industry news in general,” said IAOP CEO Debi Hamill. “We designed PULSE to provide members of the outsourcing community with just that – turning the conventional upside down, with stories designed to engage, inspire and challenge. We are thrilled to be launching our new website, IAOPPULSE.net.”

The new website also expands the reach for advertisers to include both IAOP’s exclusive global readership as well as non-members who visit the website, making branding opportunities in PULSE an even more cost-effective way for providers and advisors to reach potential users for its services.
