IAOP Seeking World’s Top Companies for Annual Award in CSR Activities

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY, August 5 – The International Association of Outsourcing Professionals® (lAOP®) is calling on outsourcing service providers and advisors to apply for its annual Global Outsourcing Social Responsibility Impact Award (GOSRIA).

The IAOP/ISG Global Outsourcing Social Responsibility Impact Award (GOSRIA) was established in 2012 to recognize service provider excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities. IAOP’s CSR Committee and ISG specifically seek to acknowledge the achievements of outsourcing service providers committed to a CSR program that fosters community, workplace training, communication, environment and giving.

Beginning September 1st, the association will start accepting applications for the annual independently judged, opt-in rankings for service providers in CSR activities.

All applicant service providers for the 2014 Global Outsourcing 100  ranking who complete the optional non-scoring questions about their CSR activities will be eligible for an award jointly presented by IAOP and ISG.

New this year, service providers will also be able to apply for the GOSRIA independently without going through the full Global Outsourcing 100 application process.  A separate nominal application fee will apply, and the application window will also be September 1 through November 1, 2013.  GOSRIA applications will be judged together regardless of how companies apply.

In its second year, the independent GOSRIA judging panel selected Accenture as the IAOP/ISG 2013 Global Outsourcing 100® recipient of the GOSRIA. Leonard Cheshire Disability, a UK based non-profit, was selected as Accenture's GOSRIA partner to receive the monetary award from ISG.  The GOSRIA award ceremony will be held on September 9, 2013, at the 2013 ISG Americas sourcing Industry Conference (SIC), The Westin Stonebriar in Dallas Texas.  Please click here for registration and program agenda information.
