Meeting held September 25, 2008
A meeting of the IAOP Spain Chapter took place on September 25, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Repsol Facilities, Avda de la Insudtria 22, Tres Cantos, Madrid, Spain.
Keynote speaker Juan Luis Rodriguez Sanchez del Alamo, quality and IT governance manager of Repsol, delivered a presentation entitled“CIO’s Vision: From Business Strategy to Sourcing Strategy.”The meeting also included a visit to the Repsol Data Center.
In addition, inside information was shared on the valuable programs offered at the upcoming IAOP European Outsourcing Summit taking place in Barcelona on October 16-17, 2008. Its theme is “Outsourcing 2008: Universal Truths – Regional Realities,” with a major emphasis on outsourcing’s emergence as a global profession, Learn how exceptional results demand exceptional execution and a critical connection between cultural ties and global sourcing decisions. The most successful firms simultaneously think globally, but act locally — learn how to be one of them!
IAOP Spain Chapter chair, Quint Wellington Redwood, will host a gala dinner on Thursday evening, 16 October, at the IESE Business School.

Meeting held Thursday, May 29, 2008
The latest meeting of the IAOP Spain Chapter, chaired by Antonio Crespo of Quint Wellington Redwood, was held on Thursday, May 29, 2008from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the Escuela Universitaria de Informatica, Universidad Politecnica, Carretera de Valencia Km. 7, Madrid.
At this dynamic meeting Anibal Garcia-Almuzara of Quint Wellington Redwood provided a presentation entitled “Keys to Success in an Outsourcing Project: The Client Perspective.”

Meeting Held - October 25, 2007
The inaugural meeting of the Madrid Chapter, chaired by IAOP corporate member Quint Wellington Redwood, took place on Thursday, October 25, 2007 at the firm’s offices, c/Alfonso xii 38, Madrid, Spain, beginning at 9:00 am.
The first, informational meeting included an open discussion on the objectives of the chapter based on the different interests of the participants. Antonio Crespo, Chair of the Madrid Chapter, provided an introduction of IAOP and its programs and the governance and dynamics of the chapter. Also discussed was IAOP’s COP Master Class its first Madrid session.
