IAOP, ISG to Honor ISS with Third Annual Global
Outsourcing Social Responsibility Impact Award

Poughkeepsie, Dec. 8 — IAOP and Information Services Group (ISG) announced today that ISS (ISS.CO, ISS DC), a global leading facility services provider, will be honored as the winner of its third annual IAOP/ISG Global Outsourcing Social Responsibility Impact Award.

The award will be presented to ISS and accepted by Joseph Nazareth, Group Head of Health, Safety & Environment and Corporate Responsibility, at a luncheon during The 2015 Outsourcing World Summit, February 16-18, 2015, in Phoenix, Arizona. In addition, ISG will make a cash donation in the name of ISS to its chosen charity, FedCap. Debi Hamill, IAOP CEO and Todd Lavieri, ISG Americas will present the award.

“With global awareness rising regarding corporate social responsibility, it is imperative today that we recognize the positive impact sourcing professionals make in our communities and on the environment,” said Debi Hamill, IAOP CEO. “We are thrilled to honor ISS this year on their contributions; they have raised the bar for all of us.”

IAOP and ISG established the award in 2012 to recognize service provider excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility. The winner demonstrates exemplary leadership in, and ongoing commitment to, activities that foster community involvement, fair operating and labor practices, respect for human rights, attention to environmental impacts, consumer issues and good governance.

“We are extremely honoured and humbled that IAOP and ISG have chosen ISS for this prestigious Award. We owe this to our more than 520,000 employees and all our loyal customers around the world. We truly believe that Social Responsibility has to be an integrated part of how we do business. We do not see Social responsibility as a cost to the business, but as a way to create value for our society,” said Joseph Nazareth, Group Vice President, ISS A/S.

“We have chosen Fedcap in New York as the charity to receive the $5,000 (USD) donation from ISG. Fedcap is a long term partner of ISS. The organization provides an amazing service for vocational rehabilitation for those who face barriers to employment. We have huge empathy for the important work they do. The donation from ISG is recognition of this and in addition, ISS will match the donation to help support Fedcap in their purpose,” said Jennifer Bonilla, CEO of ISS North America.

ISS was selected from among applicants for the IAOP’s Global Outsourcing 100. The independent judging panel, selected from IAOP’s Corporate Social Responsibility committee, was chaired by Dr. Bill Hefley of the University of Pittsburgh and ITSqc, LLC, and also included Ron Babin, COP, Ryerson University; Sarah Troup, Rockefeller Foundation; Mary Lewis, Sprint and Tim Hopper, Microsoft.

Service providers wishing to be eligible for the Global Outsourcing Social Responsibility Impact Award may apply annually during The Global Outsourcing 100 application process at IAOP’s website.
