Highly Attended 16th Outsourcing World Summit Shows
Strength and Importance of Industry
Two Honored as “Members of the Year” During Annual Conference

PHOENIX, NY, February 21 – Outsourcing demonstrated its strength as a global platform to grow and transform businesses with record numbers of professionals coming together to chart the industry’s future at the 2013 Outsourcing World Summit®.

Nearly 800 professionals from 40 countries attended the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals’® (IAOP®) annual conference, Feb. 18-20, at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge, in Phoenix, Arizona.

“The Outsourcing World Summit is a great venue for customers, providers and advisors to get together and share outsourcing experiences, best practices and exchange ideas," said IAOP CEO Debi Hamill. "This is a unique opportunity for companies to learn how outsourcing can help create change, enable growth and add value to their organizations.”

Outsourcing customers, providers and advisors from leading companies converged at the summit with some of the largest numbers of international attendees coming from Canada, Costa Rica, Denmark, India and Norway to hear the latest strategies leading companies to success in the new outsourcing landscape.

“This 16th Summit clearly shows that outsourcing is on the rise and is a key part of business strategy,” said Jag Dalal, COP and IAOP managing director of thought leadership. “People no longer view outsourcing as something that a troubled industry or function would consider or an American phenomenon.  Attendees from 36 countries prove that this is a ‘global’ strategy and top name companies attendance shows that it is an important topic for their discussion.”

IAOP recognized Zachary Misko,
