Industry Leader, Adrian Quayle, to be Inducted
into IAOP’s Leadership Hall of Fame

August 10, 2015, Poughkeepsie, NY — IAOP® today announced that Adrian Quayle, Managing Partner, Avasant, and lead co-chair for IAOP’s UK & Ireland Chapter, will be inducted into its prestigious Outsourcing Hall of Fame during The 2015 European Outsourcing Summit. The event, which is part of The Outsourcing World Summit Conference Series, will be held October 18-20, 2015, at the Frankfurt Marriott Hotel, in Frankfurt, Germany.
 
“The Outsourcing Hall of Fame recognizes the highest quality of professionals in the outsourcing industry, globally,” said Debi Hamill, IAOP CEO. “We are pleased to welcome Adrian Quayle as he is at the forefront of advancing practices and has inspired us with his contributions, which have helped shape and grow the industry.”
 
As managing partner at Avasant, Mr. Quayle works as sourcing advisor and support consultant, assisting clients across all phases of the outsourcing lifecycle, including strategy, selection, implementation and management . From 2011 to 2014 he was a chair of the ISO Committee on Outsourcing, which involved a wide range of countries and organizations. The committee he chaired recently published the International Standard on Outsourcing, which sets out good industry practice intended for use by outsourcing customers, providers and advisors, world-wide. Quayle is a member of the UK NOA Advisory Council. He represented the outsourcing industry on the British Standards Institution (BSI) committee, which drafted the British Standards on Collaborative Business Relationships.

In addition I’d also like to thank the many outstanding people from the outsourcing industry across the globe, with whom I have had the pleasure to work over many years, in particular those involved in the recent ISO standard on outsourcing.”
 
Mr. Quayle began his career as a telecommunications engineer, worked as a computer systems engineer becoming a consultant to management in IT. He also worked as a senior management services manager in a large retail group. He earned a BSc Electrical Engineering and electronics and a Diploma in Management Studies (DMS). He is a Chartered Engineer, a Member of the UK Institute of Management and a Member of the Institution of Engineering & Technology (IET). 

 
Hall of Fame
Established by IAOP in 2006, The IAOP Leadership Hall of Fame continues to grow globally and now has 25-plus members in its ranks.
The IAOP Leadership Hall of Fame is unique in that it recognizes individuals not only for their contributions to innovative  management practices and collaborative business models, but just as importantly for their contributions to society at-large through measureable outcomes.
