
International Association of Outsourcing Professionals Partners with ASTRA to Advance Strategic Outsourcing in Russia
ASTRA Joins with IAOP and Launches Local Russian Chapter
POUGHKEEPSIE, N. Y., June 15, 2010 – The International Association of Outsourcing Professionals® (IAOP®) today announced a new partnership with the Russian National Association of Strategic Outsourcing (ASTRA) to advance outsourcing in the Russian region.
ASTRA has joined the global outsourcing group as an Affiliate Association and will take the leadership role in IAOP’s new Russia chapter, providing a forum for outsourcing professionals in the country to network, share best practices and promote the industry.
The two groups will work together to further outsourcing, offshoring, shared services and related management practices, industries and its professionals, through conferences and events, publications and other member communications.
As Russia’s premier strategic outsourcing industry association, ASTRA brings together leading Russian outsourcing service providers and professionals. ASTRA hosts an annual Russian Outsourcing Forum in Moscow in November, issues an annual report about the Russian Outsourcing Industry and publishes white papers on Russian outsourcing service providers.
