Who Is Qualified To Become a Certified Outsourcing Professional?

Individuals with successful experience as a customer, provider, or advisor can become a Certified Outsourcing Professionals (COPs). Furthermore, certification is not limited to individuals who have worked in only certain types of outsourcing, within select industries, or in only certain countries. In fact, by providing a common framework for outsourcing success and a common lexicon that all professionals in the field share, the COP designation helps ensure consistent, high-quality results across the industry and around the world.

Generally speaking, individuals that have worked on all stages of multiple successful outsourcing projects for multiple organizations can achieve certification based on their current experience alone. Individuals with less experience can achieve certification through additional education and other opportunities provided on the application for them to demonstrate their knowledge of the field.

The COP application requires a $600.00 non-refundable fee (which includes the COP Exam) and candidates have up to 18 months to complete the application once begun – providing tremendous flexibility for individuals to begin the process immediately and then complete their application overtime. All projects must be within 5 years of the application submission date
